Assignment:

Ambo Anthos publishers asked me to built a promotional website for a new book.

Solution:

This time I was only asked to do the technical part of this website. Studio Jan de Boer provided me with a real nice design, that I had to transform into a working website. After talking to the designer I tried to stay as close as possible to his idea about the design and that turned out really well.

A nice feature in this website is the scaling background. No matter what screen size you use to look at this website the background image is always scaled to it's largest possible size. All other objects (menu, content blocks) are also placed dynamically.

The main part of this site is a personality test. Behind each question we have a new background image that fades out when the question is answered. All results for this test are saved to show as a graph in a later stadium (when the book is launched).

Some social media sharing is added to the personal result of the test. This way people can let other people know what type they are.
